Associate Professor

Associate Professor at Salamanca University in the field of Theory and History of Education. Head of the Department of Theory and History of Education. Member of Salamanca University’s recognised research group “Procesos, espacios y prácticas educativas” [Processes, spaces and educational practices], and member of the Group for Curricular Sustainability of the Sectorial Sustainability Committee of the Spanish Universities Vice-Chancellors’ Conference.

A member of the teaching staff in Environmental Education, Environmental Pedagogy and Socio-environmental Education, as well as in the Psychology of Education on several undergraduate and master’s courses, together with collaboration as Thesis Supervisor on doctorate programmes, having overseen 14 doctoral theses and numerous undergraduate and master’s dissertations.

She has also been involved on an ongoing basis in projects in research and innovation in education, all as part of competitive tenders, both within Salamanca University (USAL), and at regional, national and even EU level. Her areas of interest extend to such topics as environmental education, education for sustainability, curricular sustainability, the role and function of teaching, and teaching and learning strategies.
